As someone who spent my pre-teen years in the 1980s, arcades were a big part of my childhood. It 'hard to see now, but there was the incredible atmosphere that arcades once. Were dark as caves. The only light in the city, was the resonance of screens. The joystick and buttons were covered with grease from the pizzeria next door.
It was a simpler time. 99.9% of the games actually cost only a quarter to play. You always Got your money's worth. I remember playing the situation and to beat Double Dragon on one quarter of a multiple. It could be a good few hours to spend time with a porch just $ 5.
