Classroom Games - Word Relay, Teacher Basketball & More

Word Relay

This game is good to help review vocabulary and spelling.

1) Divide the class into two teams to come and have a player for any team to counsel.

2) the card in two parts and write one word on each page.

3) The player starts the game with a word with the last letter of the previous word (ie, snake -> elephant - Toy>).

4) The players pass the marker to the student and the next word starts timing.

I usually assign more points tomore words or words not accept less.

Do This Do That

This game is a variant of the popular game Simon Says. Instead of saying "Simon Says", the guide says, "do" "Do this" o. If the boss says: "Do this", students should follow the action, but if the boss says "that" students should not be in action. The set of actions is limitless, and if students are forced to a workout of the market leaders over physical movements such as jumping jacks or push canUPS. The game can be formed by elimination or team format.

Teacher Basketball

With March Madness basketball held in Canada and the United States this month, I thought it would be a suitable game to share.

1) Find a small soft ball to the basket and use his arms or an empty garbage can to create the basket.

2) Draw two lines on the floor with a dry erase marker. Imagine a line closer to the tires as the other.

3) Divide the class into two groups and beginTo play one player on each team and asked them a question from the class.

4) After the players have their questions, they play Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who shoots from the closest line to answer.

5) Enter to win one point for each basket and the team with the most points at the end of the game.

To make the game more difficult to move the carriage back and forth like buds player (I shut my eyes to make it fair).

To make the game more competitive U.S.Ask the players and the players who shoot from the front line to respond more closely.

If a team begins to pull away, in order to increase the value of the points of the opposing team can catch up.
