Pass the Bomb

Playing games with the children has significant meaning for the kids' future studying and career, helps to understand them better and improve their behavior. Educational games are the best, I think. They provide both entertainment and benefit. Many educational games, like scrabble, may be a little boring for the small kids. Pass the Bomb is great solution to bring some excitement and adrenalin to the educational game. This word game consists of a timer in a shape of bomb and a playing card with letters on it. The equipment is very simple so you can do it yourself, if you want to.

When the game starts, the playing card turns to the players and they see a couple of letters there. And the players have to name words with these two letters. For example, if the letters are LV, players can say "LoVe" or "LiVe" or "LoVely", etc.

When the letters are shown, one of the players should press the button on the bomb (it starts ticking), say the first word and pass the bomb quickly to the next player. The aim of the game is to say new word and pass the bomb as quickly as possible to remain alive. After some time bomb gives a sound of explosion and the player having it is concerned "dead". The game is played thirteen rounds and the player who "died" the least lives is the winner.

The game is very simple, but playing it provides a real fun for the whole family. What you need to do is just not to be lazy to devote some time to having fun.

It's that rare occasion when studying is amusing and a dictionary can be your rescuer! Playing the Pass the Bomb with the kids will help them to develop new competences of spelling and grammar, which is very important because now computers check our spelling and we can completely forget how to write. Our children get in touch with all the modern technologies so well that they seem to be born with an optical mouse in the hand. Sometimes, I'm so surprised to notice really small kids dealing with a mouse better than with a spoon. This fact is surprising. It's not bad to be a technical nerd form early childhood, but there is a need to learn to think by brain, not by artificial intelligence. As we might notice, everyone can make a mistake, and computer can also crash.

Remember "Wall-E"? Without saying, great cartoon! There is a moment, describing a conflict between artificial intelligence and human one, when pilot struggles with autopilot to make the decision by himself. It's good that pilot was intelligent and not indifferent! To my mind, our main task is to help children be educated and intelligent personalities, willing to leave their own print in the history of nation.

Kids games and toys.
